Militaerpass No.4



Here is the fifth Militaerpass of mine.

Mr. Anton Ezopp, born in 1890, city of Imielin (?).

He began his service in 1912, his first unit was Infanterie-Regiment 156, 6 Kompagnie where he was trained with Gewehr 88 and 98.

In August 1916 he entered 2. Kompagnie, Ersatz Bataillon Landwehr - Infanterie Regiment Nr. 11. He saw an action in Tarnawka, Rawa and so on (generally - Eastern Front).

In August 1917 he was transfered to Minenwerfer Kompagnie 246. He took part in battles of Champagne andAisne.

He spent some time in Lazarett in Marburg.

He was awarded the Eiserne Kreuz II Klasse.
