Militaerpass No.5

Here it is, Mr. Johann Poloczek (Katholik).

He entered the service in 13th October 1909 as a Ersatzrekrut, his first Truppenteil was 3. Schlesischen Infanterie Regiment Nr. 156 (5te Kompagnie).

Mr. Poloczek received Schuetzenabzeichen, he was in first Schiessklasse.

In 1913 he began his service in Infanterie Regiment "Keith" No. 22 (1. Oberschlesisches), 10 Kompagnie.

He was moved to Infanterie Regiment "von Winterfeldt" No. 23 (2. Oberschlesisches) in 1916.

He saw an action in Champagne area, Arras, Marne, Somme etc.

He was awarded with Eiserne Kreuz II Klasse in 5.2.1917 (Urkunde is attached to a Militaerpass).

This is one of the best Militaerpass I have, I will edit this post as soon as I buy Ruhmeshalle, still can't decipher many entires :-(
